A Storyline Event for the L5R CCG
For hundreds of years, the sinister Tomb of Iuchiban lay hidden in the most remote reaches of Rokugan, its terrible prisoner writhing in agony and lusting for the Empire’s destruction. Despite its horrors and terrible enchantments, however, the Tomb could not contain its prisoner forever, and the Empire knows full well the suffering Iuchiban unleashed in his third campaign of terror. Now the Bloodspeaker is dead, and his cult with him, and the only remnant of his passing is the dreaded Tomb that bears his name, hidden far from the prying eyes of curious samurai.
The faction played by the winning player of this tournament shall be the faction that discovers Iuchiban’s ancient tomb, known only to a sparse handful throughout the land. With such a discovery, the faction in question will face a difficult decision, and one that will ultimately be made by the winning player. Will the faction in question:
1. Destroy the Tomb once and for all, and risk unleashing the spirits inside.
2. Use the Tomb to safeguard something valuable or dangerous.
3. Attempt to purify the Tomb and use it as a hidden stronghold.
